Determination of EEG propagation in brain

PREVIOUS NEXT
Simultation scheme

In order to test the properties of DTF the series of simulations were performed. As an input signal (channel 1) the artifact free epoch from P3 electrode was chosen. The signal was band pass filtered in 4 - 45 Hz range and normalized (mean = 0, variance = 1). The propagations were simulated by applying different delays to the signal 1 and adding noise series. The simulated signals can be represented by:

X 1(t)=EEG(t)+e1(t)
X2(t)=A1X1(t-d1)+e2(t)
...
Xn(t)=AnX1(t-dn)+en(t)
Where
t - time
EEG(t) - filtered and normalized EEG signal from P3 electrode
Xn(t) - signal in n-th channel
en(t) - noise in n-th channel
dn - delay in n-th channel
An - weight of the connection between 1-st and n-th channels
