15 y.o. female with severe form of frontal lobe seizure. Fits occurring in clusters at night, with form of partial fits with/without secondary generalization. Some partial fits occurring also during the day. Mild cognitive impairment.
EEG - interictal - showed some generalized discharges with no defined point of onset
MRI - signs of cortical dysplasia in left frontal lobe.
She was operated on Jun 2007 - lesionectomy - since than seizure free
Pathology - typical FCD with baloon cells (IIB) of left frontal lobe
