1 year old female, admitted to our Dept due to severe fits which started within few weeks after she was born.

EEG showed some generalized discharges with difficult to specify focus or side

MRI showed large FCD of right frontal lobe

She was operated on Aug 2008 - lesionectomy of FCD; she was seizure free for 3 months, than seizures reoccurred, she was reoperated in May 2009 (functional hemispherectomy), and since than is seizure free

Pathology: disseinated FCD type IIA
